I am so proud to make even just a small difference to this younger generation of performers - I was so lucky to have so many positive influences and teachers around me when I was starting out so I aim to be the same.

There is a LOT of negativity in this industry, a lot of bitterness (sad but true ❤️‍🩹) and making sure my students know how to handle that if they recieve it is another thing I try to prepare them for. The industry is SO special - it should be filled with people who LOVE IT 💖

PROUD DOESN’T COVER IT! I didn’t manage to get loads of clips cos I was in the wings trying to enjoy watching it live (and crying, obvs) but the LA family has my heart!!! 💜

I’ve taught at LA since 2021, and they’ve always supported me when I’ve popped off to do a show for a while, and welcomed me back with open arms, which means so much to me ✨

I’ve been lucky enough to watch lots of my students there grow up, and they are everything I love about teaching - funny, cheeky, clever, caring, silly, brave, supportive & so so creative. I always look forward to whatever craziness they will bring to me, cos they know I’ll always go with it 🤣

Lots of people on stage for the first time this weekend, lots singing solos for the first time, wearing a mic for the first time… it’s easy for those things to become ordinary when you perform professionally, but to see them experience all of these things for the first time takes me back to how magic it felt… and I feel so lucky that after all these years, it still feels magic - now more than ever, actually!
